Offer overview
ACTIVE4/5 · Gherkin Good ·
A refurbished Ryzen 7 9800X3D and desktop RTX 5070 tower with 32GB DDR5 for $1,849.99. Its CPU/RAM configuration is the attraction; the retailer’s $50 comparison-price difference is not the reason for the recommendation.

Strengths
- Ryzen 7 9800X3D gaming-focused processor in the advertised configuration
- 32GB DDR5 without an immediate RAM upgrade
- Direct ORIGIN PC outlet offer at the checked $1,849.99 price
The Catch
- Refurbished warranty and grade are unverified for this desktop
- RTX 5070 rather than 5070 Ti; CPU-heavy allocation may not suit GPU-limited gaming
- Only 1TB storage and unspecified motherboard, PSU and cooler
- A 15% restocking fee would be about $277.50 if the general ORIGIN return terms apply; confirm first
Who should consider it
Gamers who specifically want the listed 9800X3D and 32GB combination and accept refurbished condition after confirming written coverage.
Who should skip it
Buyers prioritizing the highest GPU tier for their budget, requiring new condition, or unwilling to verify outlet warranty and return terms.
Desktop warranty and returns
The one-year refurbished-laptop warranty reported by Kristofer is not treated as confirmation of desktop coverage. Written warranty duration, parts/labor coverage, shipping responsibility and cosmetic grade remain unverified for this tower; confirm with ORIGIN PC before purchase.
ORIGIN PC’s general terms describe a 30-day return period, 15% restocking fee and nonrefundable shipping/handling. Confirm whether those terms apply to this exact refurbished desktop. Source: https://www.originpc.com/legal/termsandconditions/
Dilly’s Verdict 🥒🥒🥒🥒
Gherkin Good
The CPU and 32GB RAM make this the more interesting refurbished desktop configuration in the batch. The small advertised discount alone earns nothing, and unverified coverage prevents Big Dill. Initial editorial rating for Kristofer to review.
