GPU retail price history
These RTX 50-series models arrived in 2025. The usable historical observations here cover November 2025–August 2026, not their entire time on sale. Earlier months and months between observations are missing. No prices are invented to fill them.
Dots are dated monthly snapshots; their exact capture days were not published. There is no continuous line or estimate between observations. Every model has five snapshots. The minimum-price method comes from the source collector’s surveys; the chart is our own.

A small, separate snapshot
Recent retail cost samples
Two manually checked new-card listings per covered model, at one retailer, sold by Newegg itself. This is a sample range, not the market’s cheapest-to-most-expensive range. Factory overclocks and cooler designs can affect price. Item prices exclude tax and shipping; shipping is listed with each source. No rebate, membership or cart-only discount is assumed.
These observations stay dated. They are not a live stock guarantee, and they don’t enter Ask Dilly or Fresh Picks. Follow the exact product link and check the seller, price, condition and delivery options before buying.
Keep the two stories separate
What can these numbers tell us?
Price movement
Repeated retail observations can show whether a specific GPU became more or less expensive. Compare the same model, memory size, country and collection method.
Company movement
Share prices reflect expectations about whole businesses. A rising NVIDIA share price does not mean an RTX card became more expensive—or explain why it did.
Data centers
This page does not measure how much data-center demand contributes to consumer prices. That needs separate evidence about supply, memory, production and demand; coinciding trends alone cannot establish a cause.
Where the data comes from
Historical numbers are selected factual US price observations from Tim Schiesser’s retail surveys for TechSpot. Those surveys used regional price-comparison services and checked the lowest available new-card prices. We have not independently reconstructed those old retailer offers. The historical tax and shipping basis is not established here.
- February 16, 2026 survey — November 2025 and February 2026 observations.
- July 31, 2026 survey — April and July 2026 observations.
- August 31, 2026 survey — August 2026 observations.
- NVIDIA RTX 50-series introduction and RTX 5060-family introduction — product timing, not retail-price inputs.
Our current samples have a different, narrower method and are kept separate from the historical surveys. More months will improve the picture; missing evidence stays missing. All charts and explanations are created by The Dealy Pickles. No retailer product photos or source charts are reproduced.
